Concept Artist / Background Artist (Animated feature film)

Are you a talented background concept designer that would love to contribute to the art development of a new animated film? Do you live in the Netherlands or
Caribbean Netherlands? Then perhaps this is the opportunity for you!
We are in the early pre-production phase of a new unique 2d animated superhero film, where we are developing script and character designs. We need a concept artist
in our team to develop the style and the look for this film.
We are looking for someone with knowledge and experience of the Caribbean or African culture. Experience in visual development, background painting,
background design, 2D layout, prop design is a must.
Experience in production is a plus. A solid understanding of composition, value, perspective, color, shape language, and overall design is also a plus.
The artist will work closely with the directors, art directors, and other creative leads to assist in world-building, creating concept art and final designs.
In the first stage of development you will be creating and designing environments and sets.
